All too often we go into lessons without a clear understanding of what we want out of that lesson. You might try to explain to the instructor a little about yourself and your horse but this is often not clear and comprehensive and uses up valuable training time. This questionnaire will help you succinctly assess, explain, and share with your instructor about you, your horse, and your goals.  This is a valuable asset for instructors as well. You will better understand your student's background, abilities, challenges, and goals. You will learn about their horse's background, abilities, and challenges. All of this information will make it easier for you to give your client a better, more productive lesson. This questionnaire is useful even for just training at home. It will help you self-assess and focus on what you need to work on, what you hope to do, and what you enjoy most about your horse.
